It felt like they condensed parts too much. Like the space part could have been a few more episodes. It was barely acceptable that it was just "oh and we go to space. oh and we go through warp gate". That pacing felt off.

After watching this anime it probably changed for everyone and i agree that it will never beel the same

This is my favorite anime. Its got the right amount of romance, action and mystery for me.
This is like my third time watching and still the ending messes up my emotions, whenever I hear kiss of death I get all sad thinking back on this masterpiece.

this is one of those rare shows where when I finished the last ep I just sat and thought back on everything that has happened, the good, the bad and the emotionally destroying.

what i dont understand about this is why it gets so much hate, the sudden change in ep 15 and ending wasn’t too bad, they just cant enjoy it and mind all the small details lol

Yeah but like, Getting a season 2 isn't always good. Some anime's have a season 2 just because they forced content, and what happens if you do that? The anime will get a lot of hate and will turn out more bad overall. The ending and no season 2 is as good as it is, For people who didn't like the ending, it's their own personal preference.

I like how everyone found their "partner" in the end,
Goro's patient finally got rewarded,
Ikuno and naomi seems to be more than just Friends,
and now half of them are parents.

Although i wonder how old was Kokoro when she was first pregnant bc she seemed to be around 15-16 at the most, and it hurts that Hiro and 02 didn't come back.

More like settled for Goro once she realized Hiro would never stop loving zero two. I would have prefered if Goro ended up with someone who felt same way about him

I think it kinda fits the story that they were young but still had to struggle with finding out what human life used to be in the past and try to bring it back as opposed to running from emotions and becoming proudly robotic like the Nines

Despite their deaths, the ending was still great, it made me teary and emotional which i very rarely cry over anime.

Ehh idk if you want something similar to darling in the franxx or something similar meaning to make you feel… but nothing is really similar to ditf, it’s pretty unique at least imo.

It truly pains me that they had to die. But then again their souls found a way back to each other at the end.. although of course it was a new beginning for a new story, hence technically they were not the same. But still, they managed to even in the end create their own faith rather than have faith lay their paths for them.

Also. I would like to believe that at the end they would remember each other, not in the sense that they remember their past lives, but in the sense that their souls due to being connected so strongly would remember even if their physical bodies would be unable to piece together the picture/memory. As you know how one feels Deja Vu or a sense of familiarity in certain situations, perhaps that would be them remembering their past, only able to feel it but not see it.

Anyhow, this was probably one of the most beautiful amines I have watched in a while that truly made me sit back at the end and go "wow." Even Code Geass didn't really hit as hard as this one did for me.

Nah fam Code Grass Original End was better in every way.

Perhaps they would be able to remember each other, not get back their memories. But you know how sometimes we have that feeling of Deja Vu when we do or see/hear something. Perhaps that'd be them remembering fragments of their past, just unable to piece together the picture in their minds. But nonetheless the emotions/feelings are still deep within there as they're connected.

Maybe something like returning or kinda like that Will happen

Wow congrats. This show really hit hard. Makes me happy and sad all at the same time when seeing them meet in a new life. Glad they were actually reward, with a new life and opportunity to be together and learn about the world there friends built even if they don’t remember, after sacrificing there own lives and happiness for the better of humanity. Never felt this hard for anything in my life till watching this show.

I don't know how to feel about this ending, I want to cry but I don't know if they are tears of joy or sadness. Overall good anime, the beginning was really good, but after episode 17 it was really hard to go through the episodes, Because it was really obvious that they were just stretching the episodes that it felt like nothing happens every episode, but they clutched it by having a really good ending,
Which made the anime really balanced.
